What is Water Marbling
For our purposes, water marbling is the process of floating paints on a liquid surface, then using various tools to swirl the paint, making beautiful one-of-a-kind designs and patterns. A silk scarf is stretched above the surface and then lowered onto the design which is immediately and permanently transferred onto the scarf.

Hello there,
I'm Kimberly Morgan!
Wife, Mother of 2, Stepmom of 2 and Mimz to 6! I love to go on adventures with my Grands, Coffee (I really, really love Coffee) reading, the beach, and color. ALL colors. I don't have a favorite!
I have always been into art and crafts, I took various art classes while in college and dabbled with a variety of crafts all my life. My Grands come to me for all their crafting needs, need a home made Halloween costume, a valentines box for school, I got your back kid!!
Eventually my dabbling led me to making acrylic poured jewelry. While on the internet, exploring different techniques to use in my jewelry making, I discovered water marbling. Promptly fell down the internet rabbit hole and landed in California taking a water marbling class!! While taking the class I realized that I wanted to share the Joy and Magic of this art form with others and the idea for Mimz Silk Art was born!!
